Private Tuition
Do you like the idea of some expert coaching focused entirely on you?
One-to-one sessions can be tailored specifically to your needs, timescale and budget.
One-to-one coaching sessions can revolutionise your riding!
Whether it's overcoming Mountain bike fear factor, fine tuning your Cyclo-cross skills, or just getting the most from riding your bike.
Most one-to-one sessions are tailor-made to your exact requirements, however I do have some existing ‘off the shelf’ programmes that have been designed to meet the most frequent requests I receive, including:
Essential Cycling Skills
As the saying goes: “it’s just like riding a bike”, but is it really that simple? If you are getting back to riding your bike after a number of years off and feeling a bit rusty, or perhaps you want to start commuting by bike but you are a bit nervous about traffic and the road conditions, then an ‘essential cycling skills’ session could be perfect for you. ‘Essential cycling skills’ is a Cycling Scotland programme created to boost the confidence of those new to cycling or making a return, developing the necessary skills to negotiate on-road journeys.
Route Choice & Road Position
This is a popular session designed with commuting cyclists in mind. Aimed at supporting riders to become more confident commuters and feel more safe, the session explores route options, reviews and develops road craft, and teaches strategies to take the stress out of commuting by bike.
E-bike Fundamentals
If like many people you’ve recently joined the electric revolution and bought your first E-bike, you may be wondering how to get most from your new purchase. This session is the perfect opportunity to get to grips with your new electric bike and learn how to make the most of the power. Combined with elements of the ‘essential cycling skills’ session, you’ll get riding confidently and safely.
Prices start from £30/hour and vary depending on the session type, duration and location.
